ന്യൂഡൽഹി : ഒമിക്രോണ്‍ ഭീഷണി നേരിടാന്‍ രാജ്യം സജ്ജമെന്ന് കേന്ദ്ര ആരോഗ്യമന്ത്രി. കേന്ദ്ര, സംസ്ഥാന സര്‍ക്കാരുകള്‍ നടപടി സ്വീകരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടെന്നും മന്ത്രി ലോക്സഭയില്‍ അറിയിച്ചു.

ഇന്ത്യയില്‍ ഒമിക്രോണ്‍ കണ്ടെത്തിയ പശ്ചാത്തലത്തില്‍ എല്ലാ രാജ്യാന്തര യാത്രികരെയും നിരീക്ഷിക്കണമെന്ന് ആരോഗ്യമന്ത്രാലയം. ഇക്കാര്യം ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ട് ചീഫ് സെക്രട്ടറിമാര്‍ക്ക് കേന്ദ്ര ആരോഗ്യ സെക്രട്ടറി കത്തയച്ചു.

സമ്പര്‍ക്കത്തിലുള്ളവരെ 72 മണിക്കൂറിനുള്ളില്‍ പരിശോധനയ്ക്ക് വിധേയമാക്കണമെന്ന് നിര്‍ദേശം നല്‍കി.
