ക്രിസ്മസ് പരീക്ഷയ്ക്ക് പകരം അര്‍ധ വാര്‍ഷിക പരീക്ഷ നടത്താനാണ് ആലോചന.ജനുവരിയിലായിരിക്കും അര്‍ധ വാര്‍ഷിക പരീക്ഷ. സ്‌കൂള്‍ തലത്തില്‍ ഒരു പരീക്ഷയും നടത്തിയില്ലെങ്കില്‍ പിന്നെ പൊതുപരീക്ഷ വരുമ്പോള്‍ 10, 12 ക്ലാസുകളിലെ കുട്ടികള്‍ക്ക് പ്രയാസമുണ്ടാകും എന്നാണ് വിലയിരുത്തല്‍.
