ഇന്ധനവില വര്ദ്ധനവും കോവിഡ് വ്യാപനവും മൂലം വാഹന ഉടമകള്‍ നേരിടുന്ന പ്രതിസന്ധി പരിഗണിച്ചാണ് തീയതി നീട്ടി നല്കിയതെന്ന് മന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു.

നിലവില് മെയ് 15-നായിരുന്നു നികുതി പിഴ കൂടാതെ അടയ്ക്കേണ്ട തീയതി. നേരത്തെ കഴിഞ്ഞ സാമ്ബത്തിക വര്‍ഷത്തിലെ അവസാന ക്വാര്‍ട്ടറിലെ നികുതി അടക്കേണ്ട തീയതി ജൂണ്‍ 30 വരെ ദീര്‍ഘിപ്പിച്ചിരുന്നു.
